Project Lifesaver Training to Take Place

The Shreveport Fire Department K9 Search and Rescue Task Force, in their never-ending goal to keep the public safe, will receive training on Project Lifesaver January 16 and 17 at the Shreveport Fire Academy. The team will learn about the history of the project, what the future holds for it and how to use its advanced equipment. They will also plot strategy on how to make this life-saving tool available to those in need.

Project Lifesaver uses radio-frequency tracking bracelets for those who have dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease or autism in the event they wander away from their home or care center. For more information, please visit the Project Lifesaver tab at the top of our website. Or, visit ProjectLifesaver.org
