Our Annual Benefit Horse Show event consists of Hunter, Jumper and Dressage horse competitions. Despite popular belief, our canines do not ride the horses; the human entrants do! Entrants come from around the area to compete in the competitions, win prizes, eat great food, meet our canine heroes and watch them give demonstrations of their specialties.
Though this event requires a lot of physical work and logistical forethought, we have a tremendous group of individuals that help us put on this great show every year. This includes Tracy and Bobby Hewlett, owners of our host site Holly Hill Farm in Benton, La., as well as our judges, volunteers and administrators.
The Benefit Horse Show consists of sponsorship opportunities from community organizations. If you or your organization would like to support us and get your name recognized through a banner ad and verbal announcement at our Show, please contact our K-9 Search and Rescue Support Group at 318-797-8489.
Of course you, your friends, and entire family are welcome to join us on September 16 and 17, 2023 for the next show. The show is FREE for spectators but we will have show t-shirts for sale in the pavilion. All proceeds go to support our cause.
